The KOHO Chili Cook Off is the perfect Washington event after a chilly day skiing Leavenworth. After all, what’s the most popular dish on the mountain on a freezing cold day? Duh, chili. A whole freakin’ crock of chili. Head to the Pybus Public Market at 12PM for the one-hour competiion. The winning recipe will be featured on KOHO radio and the winner will get a sweet prize package plus the glory of winning. It may be a tough year, as reigning champion Mike’s Meat Market is back to defend their chili title. Sleeping Lady Resort is also bringing their culinary staff to bear. Professional chefs, email email@example.com to get registered. Everybody else, bring your own cornbread and get to the judging. A more delicious, free lunch you’ll never have – until next year.
